Mission Style Wall Clock Plan

Clock Plan - Page Meter

Ok, So we admit it. It's not a true mission style clock. But the design is based on mission style furniture and it's free; so cut us some slack. This wall clock is a variation of a Mission Style clock. The clock pictured here is made from Brazilian Cherry and is finished with a Watco Natural Danish Oil Finish. The type of wood and the finish you decide to use is entirely up to you. The clock, which measures 15"x321/2", is powered by a quartz movement. This plan consists of seven sections. Each page is linked to the next or accessible through the table of contents at the bottom of the page.

You may use these plans free of charge provided it is not for commercial purposes. Please feel free to modify the plans to suit your needs. If you build this clock, please let us know how it went. Send us pictures, we would love to build an online picture gallery. Feedback from our readers will help us improve the clarity and quality of our plans.

Mission Style
Wall Clock

One of the nicest things about this clock plan is the simplicity of its design. All of the parts can be cut on a table saw. If you are just starting your tool collection you will appreciate this. As you read through this plan you will notice that a biscuit joiner is used for most of the assembly. This makes assembly and adjustment a lot easier. If you don't have a biscuit joiner you could modify the plans to use dowels or mortise and tenon joints. Note: Don't start out by cutting all of the pieces. Cut them as you work and make adjustments as needed.
