Stabilize Your Tablesaw's Base

Because workshop floors are rarely flat, you may find that your tablesaw wobbles. This can cause accuracy and safety issues. If you're just using the saw in that location for a short period of timeContractor's Style Table Saw you can secure a wooden shim under one of the legs.

If you have a contractors style table saw (pictured) and you're going to leave the saw in place in your workshop, you can loosen the bolts securing the legs together and re-tighten them. This will allow the tablesaw's stand to adjust for the imperfections in the floor. Some tablesaws also have adjustable feet that can be twisted to adjust for variations in the floor.
