These Crown carving tools are made from high quality hardened tempered carbon steel in the Sheffield tradition. They are individually handcrafted and fitted with stained beech handles and brass ferules. This results in a beautiful chisel of the highest quality. All chisel edges are factory ground and require honing before use. We recommend using a water stone for sharpening and a leather strop to touch up the edge during use. Sharpening tools are available in our "Sharpening Tools Section".
