These Crown carving tools are made from high quality hardened tempered carbon steel in the Sheffield tradition. They are individually handcrafted and fitted with rosewood handles and brass ferules. This results in a beautiful chisel of the highest quality. Their well balanced design combined with their pleasing look make Crown chisels the choice of many woodcarvers.

All chisel edges are factory ground and require honing before use. We recommend using a water stone for sharpening and a leather strop to touch up the edge during use.
