This surface mounted drawer lock is design with a dead bolt type strike that
travels to lock the drawer in place. The lock mounts on the inside surface of
the drawer and does not require a mortise for installation. The installation
does require the drilling of a hole in the drawer for key access. The lock is
bright brass.
