Our large offset router base helps you maintain control of your router. By design, the offset base helps to reduce the tipping tendency of  most routers by placing a handle low further out from the router. Tipping is most common when routing an edge but the base is also useful in other operations. 

Because the base is transparent the operator can see what is going on and where the cutting action is actually happening. This is helpful when starting pilots at corners and knowing when to stop feeding. It is also useful in sign work to remove backgrounds and bridge over larger unsupported areas than the factory base. 

The 12" long x 7" wide clear acrylic router base will fit any size router. To attach your router simply remove your existing base and use it as a template to drill screw holes in the new offset base. Detailed drilling instructions are included.
