| This line of registered mortise chisels is designed to take a pounding - literally! The hot forged high carbon steel blade is taper ground and fitted into hard Ash handles. A steel hoop at the striking end is designed to reduce mushrooming when driving the chisels into mortises. A leather washer is fitted between the handle and the blade to absorb shock.
